Brice Nelson Alvord is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging. He has broad expertise in general radiology, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, as well as specialized experience in breast imaging and a variety of image-guided procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies.
Dr. Alvord is dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and compassionate care. He believes in treating every patient with the same respect and attention he would want for himself or his family, and he values close collaboration with referring physicians to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
Dr. Alvord earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he also completed an internal medicine internship and a radiology residency. He then completed a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the Pennsylvania State University Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Alvord enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and their three children. He is active in his local church and enjoys outdoor activities, photography, fly-fishing, and playing piano and guitar.
